| Yes. You can register multiple domain names and use 'domain parking' to link the new domains to your site. Multiple domain names assist users in finding your site and also protect your business identity. For example, you might run a business called John Smith's Mowing, and have a web site online at www.johnsmithmowing.com.au. To protect your identity, you could register johnsmithmowing.com and johnsmithmowing.net. You are also thinking of expanding to New Zealand in the future, so you have registered johnsmithmowing.co.nz. These extra domain names can simply be added to your web site by logging into cPanel, and clicking on "Parked Domains". Simply enter the domain name you would like to add to the site, and it should be functional within 24 hours. If your domain name was registered with QuikDesign, this is a service we provide when you register multiple domain names. If you registered your domain names with another registrar, you will need to update the nameservers to ns1.instanthosting.com.au and ns2.instanthosting.com.au before adding the parked domain name in cPanel. |
